Cyclists enter and leave new cycle lanes from both sides. Present arrangement often requires cyclists to cross un-necessarily.
Need at the very least an up hill cycle path off road here as car drivers want cyclists out of the way. B197 is not a nice place to cycle.
Complete the cycle way from Mt Pleasant Lane to Tesco. Needs space from road traffic over this bridge, which is underused normally so available.
Extend the existing cycle path through the woods so that it goes under the White Bridge, through to the college car park and linking to College Way. This ought to be quite easy by using the existing railway line but would help connect exis ... [more]

This section of Brockswood Lane should be closed to cars and made a bridleway. The lane has attractive views over the golf course and would quickly become a popular walking route - currently it has no footpath and a deregulated speed limit.

Move 40 mph speed limit to include the crossing. Add a central island wide enough for bikes with child trailers as a nasty place to cross with poor sightlines as cars speed down the hill.
Welfield road was intentionally widened an a cost of ten of thousands as a failed traffic calming measure. Joining Alban way with the business park would have done the same thing with paint and some kerbstones.
